THE CAMBLOCK VERTiCAL RAIL KIT!
Take a sneek peek.
SMU Football: Living the DreaM
While at the Hawaii Bowl in December we spent our free time shooting motion control time lapse all over Honolulu. Cut this together. Amazing trip. Enjoy.
Balcones Burner Bash
Motion Control Time lapse Graffiti
The Balcones Burner Bash is a graffiti art festival where local Austin artists are allowed to paint on rail cars and, for a change, not get arrested! In the world of graffiti, a tagged rail car is called a "burner".
Balcones Recycling, who created the event, invited me to film it so I went all out and brought my camBLOCK motion control rigs, including the prototype dolly.
With the interleaved shooting capability three shots were taken simultaneously, multiply this by two setups and two systems and those two DSLR cameras shot 12 motion time lapse shots combined.
Add some editing, a sprinkle of real time footage, and original music by my friend James Neel and you've got a film. Enjoy!
Motion COntrol Demo
Montage of motion control shots I've taken over the years. All shot with the camBLOCK system or it's prototypes. This is shot on a variety of formats including 35mm film, 16mm film, HDV Video, and DSLR still sequences.
Wyly Theatre Time lapse
Dallas Arts District
This is a time lapse I originally shot for Theatre Projects who is involved in the construction of the Wyly Theatre. I shot this with two of my camBLOCK™ motion control heads. Each head was programmed to shoot three time lapses simultaneously (interleaving the shots) so I was able to edit this from six different shots. The time lapse period was about five hours. Enjoy!
Motion Control On Location
Motion control demonstration of the camBLOCK™ system being set up for a real time/time lapse composite.
Motion Control Projects Demo
Excerpts of various projects using camBLOCK™ motion control techniques.
